Setting up a “Socio-Economic Survey” in Bonde
To improve our knowledge of the residents of Bonde, their living conditions, school attendance, income, land size useful for agriculture, … we started a research project.
Six experienced interviewers with college degrees interviewed 707 residents using a questionnaire, as well as several existing groups. The study could later serve as a tool for measuring the impact of our approach.

A meeting with the military police and residents of Bonde, and a meeting about the greenhouse with the people of Sango Village
Involving the local community and the government in our initiatives is of great importance.

Building a fence around the greenhouse and the people’s gardens
A sturdy fence was needed not only to keep out unwanted visitors, but especially to keep out unwanted green-eating pests. Chickens and nocturnal wildlife are thus kept out.
